Wooohooo guess what, I've started to read a handmade marketplace book (will give a review when finished) and it said something about googling your brand name. Well me being weird I've never done it before, anyhow just done it now and I am the top 5. I feel so happy about it yay YAY!!! Lol

Ahhhh also I wanted to show you some quick photos of the yarn I spun, sadly I still have yet to set the twist so will do it tomorrow and I get paid so can buy some soak yay!! Now without further ado the yarn and my baby Joey lol.

Ok well I've been slightly busy lol!! I have two swaps coming up so spent around 2 hours painting lol it's looking good!!

I also spun up some lovely fiber which I'm going to make into a really ace headband for one of my swappees lol!! It's going to have a bow and every just hope there will be enough yarn for 2. If I have the time I will set the yarn tomorrow yay. Need to get myself some Soak. ((just sadly deleted the photo of this yarn :( so will take one tomorrow))

Also dyed my first sample yarn and it's ace. It's going to be my lux lace yarn, I would tell you a price but I'm still working it out lol.

Oh to carry on with the crazyness I think I need to learn how to structure my posts properly lol anyhow I've come up with a colour scheme for everything Fynnoderee or Fynno for short lol!! The colour scheme will be

Black, White and Lime Green

Very happy with my choice and I've also got myself a slogan did all the normal searches and couldn't see this already being used so here it goes!

Well today was very non productive on the yarn front I seriously am annoyed at myself, just couldn't do anything right today. I have tried and tried to start a sock with every step failing I've even managed to lose 3 double pointed sock needles today!! I'm going mad!!

Ahhh well I'm going to give myself a mini break from socks as In one of my swaps I am wanting to knit a headband so we shall see how that goes, it will be done with handspun yarn so it better be good lol!!!

Now my target for tomorrow is to come up with a system that I can use for my personal yarn and accessories. I have almost sorted out my storage for my yarns for Fynnoderee which I will be getting soon, have to say very very excited I carnt wait to show everyone my colour scheme's! But for my personal yarns and accessories they are all over the place plus the fact I want to learn how to do loads of things having a system which means I can reach everything will be ace!!

Now just got to think of what will work, right bed time.

Sample's!!!!

Sooo the weekend is over and I'm now back at home after house sitting my parents how for 2 weeks, sadly will miss having a house to just me the dogs and Michael.

On the plus side I finally got my samples throught and will start dying them asap I sooooo carnt wait I had a good sqwish with them and they are sooo soft and perfect for my brand, and I'm still on track to get my first order (Yay!!) for my birthday which will be exciting then I've just got to figure out what to dye first and what colours at the moment there will be alot of sock yarn and lace yarn which I promise will be worth there ounce in gold when I am finished with them lol.

Now just got to make myself some ace business cards/ yarn tags, also maybe some random extras, a banner and tags for my etsy shop oh and a light box for my room.

Ahhh that's also something Ive got to do find the beat storage for yarn in the smallest space as my craft area is also my bedroom which is already small without encluding Michael into the mix argggggg got alot to do before the beginning of July lol.

Long time no see

Well what can I say I haven't been on here in ages mainly as i've had so much happen in such a short period of time, ah well time to sort myself out.

I'm still working towards getting my etsy store up and running Yay!! And I still have the dreams of making it similar to BlueMoon in America, as in as well as doing limited colourways I will also be doing semi solid/solid/multi colours which will be as repeatable as possible. I will also be supplying every fiber/ yarn that I can.

I'm just so excited about the whole concept and I don't want to get it up and running till I've sorted everything out. But seriously I'm so excited lol!!!

I'm also hoping to become a contributor to phatfiber I'm just trying to figure out what I'm going to do and hopefully I will have my first lot of yarns for my b'day in June YAY!!

I will keep you as updated as I can which hopefully will be daily now everything has calmed down lol.

I will also be using this blog to show you my knitting and anything else crafty I will be doing oh and also will be doing reviews on yarns ect so It should be fun.

First Post

Well hello :), i thought it was about time i started a fiber blog as im wanting to start up Fynnoderee Yarns :).

So a bit about myself Hiiii *waves* im Nessy and im a weird creature lol, im currently addicted to the colour green so much so my hair is the colour of dark green grass lol. Im obsessed with self sufficiency even though sadly i dont practice it and know i could never go the whole way and kill any animals i owned just to eat so if i ever got that far id be veggi/vegan self sufficient lol. Ive also obsessed with the whole be eco friendly and practice this wherever i can, in whatever shape or form it comes in :).

I currently live on the lovely Isle of Man, near the beach which i could never live without another one of my obsessions as well as farms if i could ever own a farm near the sea id be set up for life lol. I live with my 2 ace sisters :) who are both older (im the baby :)) and my soul mate Michael. We tend to have a mad house at all times and are either watching something to do with WWE or cycling or Fringe/Criminal Minds or we are playing Rock Band lol. Were also very pet ordinated and have three lovely cats BamBam who is a very big (slight fat he was huge but has been on a diet bless him lol) who is mine, Felix who was my sisters but has lached himself on Michael and Spider who is just Manic, hes now over a year old and still just stares at the walls meowing and tends to run around in circles :). We also own 3 cocker spaniels Belle who is my eldest sisters, Belle came first and we got her as soon as we moved into this house, we also have two off her puppies Suki who is also my eldest sisters and she looks more like a dashound than a cocker spaniel lol and Joey who is my baby, and when hes been cut he looks like a black lab lol. We have also seemed to inherited Oscar who is a Welsh Spinger Spaniel. Ive got to tell you though its amazing how easily you forget how life was before when you only had one dog lol, every pet we seem to get seems like they have been here since before time, we do tend to have alot of mad moment though :)

Righty id better go as its already 11.33pm and im supposed to be going to bed lol, hopefully i will be able to show you some yarn tomorrow :)
